Hi, I’m Pasi Salenius — the developer behind Proxygen and the founder of Fresh Bits.

I’m an iOS engineer who loves building applications with carefully constructed user interfaces and a touch of personal flair. Before focusing on my own products, I spent years in the information security field, assessing iOS and Android apps — including widely-used Finnish banking, mobile payment and secure authentication apps — for security vulnerabilities.

That background is exactly why Proxygen exists. I wanted a fast, native HTTP debugging proxy that makes inspecting, intercepting and testing app traffic effortless on both Mac and iOS — the kind of tool I always reached for during security assessments — but one I could use just as well in app development.

I’ve been writing Swift since its earliest public releases, and I build server-side APIs in Go (this very site runs on Hugo, which is Go-based too). Above all, I love learning how to craft the best possible apps alongside teams of passionate professionals.

Say hello on Mastodon or GitHub.
